It's a particular gem among The Tanning Faithful, containing many enduring standards of Tavern Tan's repertoire ("Rock & Roll Shoes", "Blue Lu", "Gordon & Main", "Last Chance Again", "Trying to Find You") as well as a neo-pseudo-funk bit of absurdity, the Tavern Tan Manifesto known as "Monkey with a Fez On"! The first recorded works by the boys featuring bassist Bill Melcher (Crack Babies, Hurry Down Sunshine, Start Making Sense), this was produced by Dan McKinney (The Original Sins), who is all over the project tickling the ivories and squashing his Hammond. All killer, no filler....
